Free Music Fridays at the American Folk Art Museum!
The Folk Art Museum is doing this great thing up in Lincoln Square where they invite musicians to play a set in the museum, and I’m thrilled to be a part of a pretty sick lineup: Maryanna Sokol is opens up the afternoon and Charlene Kaye is wraps it up, with me happily nestled in between. Baller. Also, I don’t think i mentioned this - It’s free. So that’s always nice.

Boy Girl Party is going a little folk for this one. What does that mean? We’re replacing drums with hand claps and foot stomps, putting almost all of the instrumental weight on Matt’s acoustic guitar, and gonna make you swoon with 3-girl harmonies and romantic tiny accordion sounds. Probably the ideal way to spend the almost-longest night of the year.
